About Kolymbia Beach

The beach of Kolymbia is 25 km from the city of Rhodes, halfway from Rhodes and Lindos. It is a green, quiet and modern tourist resort. It is a protected, sheltered, sandy bay, surrounded by hotels and restaurants. Following the path of eucalyptus trees and leaving behind a lot of tourist shops and cafes, visitors will be led to the beach. Kolymbia beach is organised with umbrellas and sun beds, and not crowded. Ideal for families with children and couples of all ages. After a swim a meal with seafood and ouzo is a must in the taverns built on the rocks.

About Kolymbia Village

Kolymbia is mostly know for its sandy beach with deep blue waters and it’s main road – the Eucalyptus Street.

From the main road (called the Rhodes – Lindos Road), you enter the village by taking the long street all the way towards the beach area. This street is called Eucalyptus street, as when you drive or walk down it, you can see hundreds of massive Eucalyptus trees running the entire length on each side.

This street was built by The Italians during their occupation of Rhodes.

In the center of Kolymbia, you’ll find a wide variety of bars, restaurants and shops covering all your needs.

Plenty of hotels are also conveniently located in Kolymbia, making them the perfect place to stay as Kolymbia is located at he center of all the landmarks worth visiting on the island of Rhodes.

Lindos, Tsampica Beach, Faliraki, Old Town and Rhodes City are all within 20 minutes driving distance.
